Joaquin Miller is another short easy ride appropriate for beginners or those looking for an easy day. The route goes out Tunnel and across Skyline to Joaquin Miller. But, instead of heading right to Redwood, it instead heads left and returns to Berkeley via neighborhood streets (and a bike path) in Claremont, a neighborhood of Oakland. The way back is tricky so make sure you go with someone who knows where they’re going the first time.
Time: 1.25-1.75 hours
